By using our website, purchasing or obtaining a ticket, registering for an event, applying or agreeing to participate as a contestant, or attending a The Shia Voice event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully.

You may use our website for lawful personal purposes, including obtaining information about The Shia Voice, applying to participate, registering for events and purchasing or managing tickets.
You must not:
misuse, damage or interfere with the website;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
use automated systems to obtain tickets unfairly;
submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
impersonate another individual;
reproduce or exploit website content without permission; or
use the website for unlawful, abusive or fraudulent purposes.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
We aim to keep our website and booking services available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical difficulties, circumstances outside our control or updates to our services.
Information displayed on the website may also be corrected or updated when necessary.
Tickets for The Shia Voice events may be issued directly by us or through an authorised ticketing provider.
When making a booking, you are responsible for ensuring that:
the information supplied is accurate;
the correct event date is selected;
the correct number and type of tickets are booked;
your contact information is correct; and
any applicable payment information is valid.
Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking or ticket confirmation.
We may cancel bookings reasonably believed to have been made fraudulently, through misuse of the ticketing system, or in breach of these Terms.
Any applicable ticket price, booking fee, service charge or other mandatory charge will be communicated before the booking is completed.
Where tickets are provided free of charge, all other provisions of these Terms continue to apply.
Any ticket-specific cancellation or refund conditions displayed during booking form part of these Terms.
Tickets for live events taking place on a specified date generally do not carry the standard statutory 14-day cooling-off period applicable to many online purchases.
Where applicable, requests to change or cancel a booking should be made through the ticket management facility or by contacting The Shia Voice.
Approval of a voluntary cancellation, transfer, exchange or date change is subject to availability and the applicable ticket conditions.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Shia Voice may change, postpone, relocate, reschedule or cancel an event where reasonably necessary.
This may include circumstances involving:
venue requirements;
safety or security concerns;
technical problems;
production requirements;
severe weather;
travel disruption;
illness;
government restrictions;
emergencies;
acts of God; or
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where there is a significant change, postponement or cancellation, we will endeavour to communicate available options to affected ticket holders.
We are not responsible for separate travel, accommodation, transportation, parking or other expenses incurred by attendees except where expressly agreed by us in writing or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Possession of a ticket does not remove the requirement to comply with venue rules, security procedures and these Terms.
Attendees should arrive within the arrival time stated on their ticket or in communications issued by The Shia Voice.
Late arrivals may be required to wait for an appropriate admission point and, where necessary for filming or production, admission may be delayed.
For certain audience areas, seating may be operated on a first-come, first-served basis unless a specific seat has been allocated.
Attendees may not save multiple seats or queue positions for people who have not yet arrived where this interferes with the fair admission of other guests.
VIP or reserved seating may be subject to an arrival-by time communicated before the event.
If a ticket holder fails to arrive by the stated time, we may release an empty seat where reasonably necessary for audience management, filming or production.
Where possible, late-arriving ticket holders will still be accommodated, but the original seat or seating area cannot always be guaranteed.
Start and finishing times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
The Shia Voice is a live recorded production and delays may occur.
Filming, judging, production requirements, performances or unforeseen circumstances may cause an event to run later than originally anticipated.
Attendees are responsible for making appropriate travel and transport arrangements.
The Shia Voice is a family-friendly Islamic programme.
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards:
contestants;
judges;
presenters;
staff;
volunteers;
scholars;
performers;
production crew;
venue staff; and
other audience members.
Threatening, discriminatory, abusive, intimidating, disruptive or dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove an individual where reasonably necessary for the safety, security, dignity or proper operation of the event.
Removal from an event because of serious misconduct may take place without a refund where permitted by law.
Attendees are expected to dress appropriately and respectfully for an Islamic family event.
Men should wear smart, modest attire. Appropriate clothing may include a Dishdasha, Jubbah, shirt and trousers, or appropriate cultural clothing.
Female attendees are expected to observe appropriate Islamic hijab and modest dress comparable to the standards expected when visiting Islamic holy shrines.
The Shia Voice or venue staff may address clothing that is clearly inappropriate for the nature of the event.
Unless specifically authorised by The Shia Voice, attendees must not display or bring into prominent audience areas:
political flags;
political party or campaign branding;
provocative political signs or banners;
team flags or large team branding;
material intended to cause disruption or confrontation; or
unauthorised promotional or commercial material.
This rule helps maintain the programme’s intended religious, family and non-partisan environment and prevents unauthorised material appearing prominently during filming.
Attendees must follow reasonable instructions from security personnel, venue staff and The Shia Voice team.
Bag inspections or other reasonable security checks may take place where permitted by the venue and applicable law.
Items that may endanger others, interfere with production or breach venue rules may be prohibited.
The Shia Voice is a television, digital media and online production.
By entering an audience or filming area, you acknowledge that photography, audio recording and video recording will take place.
Audience members may appear in:
television programmes;
livestreams;
YouTube videos;
social media content;
trailers;
advertisements;
promotional videos;
photographs;
websites;
documentaries;
behind-the-scenes content; and
other media relating to The Shia Voice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, by voluntarily entering clearly notified filming areas at a The Shia Voice production you acknowledge that incidental recordings of the audience may be made and used in connection with the programme and its promotion.
Where additional consent or an individual release is legally required for a particular use, we may seek that consent separately.
If you have a specific concern relating to appearing on camera, please speak to a member of The Shia Voice team before entering the filming area.
Personal photographs and short recordings may be permitted unless otherwise announced.
However, attendees must not:
interfere with professional filming;
block cameras or production equipment;
enter restricted production areas;
use flash photography where prohibited;
record confidential production material;
livestream substantial portions of the programme without permission; or
commercially exploit recordings of the event without written authorisation.
The Shia Voice may impose additional filming restrictions at particular recordings.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
The Shia Voice may consider factors including performance ability, suitability for the programme, category requirements, scheduling, programme balance, production requirements and available places.
Selection decisions relating to participation in the programme remain with The Shia Voice and its authorised production team.
A contestant who is offered a place may be required to confirm attendance by a stated deadline.
Where a contestant fails to confirm by the deadline, cannot attend or withdraws, The Shia Voice may offer the place to another applicant.
Contestants must provide accurate information regarding their availability.
Where a contestant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian may be required to complete or approve documentation on their behalf.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that information supplied for a minor is accurate and that they have authority to provide the necessary permissions.
Additional safeguarding, supervision and consent requirements may apply to minors.
Once participation has been formally accepted, contestants are expected to attend at the date and time communicated by The Shia Voice.
Contestants progressing through the competition may also be required to remain available for additional filming dates, including semi-finals or other production requirements communicated to them.
Failure to attend without reasonable notice may affect participation.
Additional contestant agreements, release forms, confirmation forms or production terms may be issued separately and, where accepted, form part of the contestant’s participation conditions.
Contestants are responsible for ensuring that their proposed performance complies with instructions issued by The Shia Voice.
The production team may require reasonable adjustments relating to:
performance duration;
staging;
audio;
content;
backing material;
technical requirements;
religious appropriateness; and
broadcast suitability.
Performance time limits communicated to contestants must be respected.
Contestants who progress to a semi-final may receive additional performance instructions.
Depending on the category, contestants may be asked to prepare or select from multiple performance options, verses or topics.
The applicable judges or production team may determine which permitted option is performed in accordance with the competition format communicated to contestants.
Judging decisions made as part of The Shia Voice programme are part of the entertainment and competition format.
Judges may assess contestants based on relevant performance criteria and may provide feedback during filming.
Decisions made under the programme’s judging and progression format are final for the purpose of the competition, except where The Shia Voice determines that a correction is required because of an administrative or production error.
Contestants may be filmed, photographed and recorded during participation.
Separate contestant releases, permissions or agreements may govern the ownership and permitted use of contestant performances, interviews, photographs, recordings and other programme content.
Where a separate contestant agreement conflicts with these general website Terms in relation to participation, the specific contestant agreement will take priority for that matter.
Unless otherwise indicated, The Shia Voice owns or is authorised to use the intellectual property associated with its website and original programme materials.
This includes, where applicable:

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, attendees and contestants are responsible for their own:

Judges, presenters, contestants, performers, special guests, programme content and schedules may be changed where reasonably required by production circumstances.
The appearance of a particular judge, presenter, contestant or guest should not be treated as guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our events, website, services, operational practices or applicable law.
The latest version will be published on our website together with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer or local laws applicable to a particular transaction or event provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on any mandatory legal rights available to them in the jurisdiction in which they reside or in which an event takes place.
